Greetings Intercessors,

When the trees came down in my yard, something happened that I did not expect. The ground itself seemed to wake up. What had been still began to stir. Things that had lived comfortably in the shade for years suddenly had nowhere to hide. And the Lord whispered to my spirit: When I disturb the ground, hidden things surface, and that is not defeat. That is deliverance beginning.

For two weeks, we have stood at the base of the tree. We exposed the hidden roots. We traced how trauma becomes a root system. This week, the Brief moves from revelation to war. Put on your boots, intercessor, and stay to the end, because I have carried an announcement for seven years, and this is the week I finally get to make it.

Cut It Down Before It Falls

Here is what the watchman must understand about the trees that came down: we did not wait for a storm to prove the danger was real. We looked at what was leaning, we discerned the danger before the destruction, and we dealt with it while the sky was still clear.

Beloved, that is a picture of preventive deliverance. We have been taught to think of deliverance only as rescue, the dramatic intervention after the crash, the prayer line after the collapse. But sometimes deliverance is quieter and wiser than that. Sometimes it is the discernment to remove what is leaning before it falls on the house. The attachment that has been tilting toward compromise. The pattern that has been leaning over your peace. The open door that has not caused damage yet, the keyword being yet.

Whoso removeth stones shall be hurt therewith; and he that cleaveth wood shall be endangered thereby. Ecclesiastes 10:9 (KJV)

Solomon was telling the truth: root work is dangerous work. Quarrying stones and splitting wood cost something. That is exactly why we do not do this work in our own strength, in our own timing, or for an audience — and why we do not wait for the storm to force our hand.

Ask the Lord this week: Father, what is leaning in my life that You want removed before the storm proves it dangerous?Then have the courage to let Him cut.

When Hidden Things Begin to Move

Now let me prepare you for what happens next, because this is where many saints panic and abandon the work.

When the trees came down, the hidden things appeared. What had nested in the shade came into the open. And in the spirit, the same thing happens: when God disturbs the ground you have surrendered to Him, things begin to move. Old feelings surface in prayer. Memories you filed away years ago come looking for you in worship. Relationships suddenly reveal what was always underneath. Reactions rise up in you that make you wonder, where did THAT come from?

Daughter of God, hear the watchman clearly: surfacing is not a setback. Surfacing is mercy.

For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. Luke 8:17 (KJV)

God is bringing to the light what could only harm you in the dark. The enemy’s entire strategy depends on concealment, hidden roots, hidden agreements, hidden wounds working beneath the surface of your life. The moment a hidden thing is exposed, it has already lost its greatest weapon. The snake you can see has lost its advantage.

So when the ground of your soul starts moving this season, do not run back to the shade. Stand still, name what surfaced, and hand it to the Holy Spirit. Exposure is the doorway to eviction.

The War Room: Weapons That Reach the Root

This is Warfare Week in the Brief, and I want to arm you properly, because our authority is not in volume, drama, or manifestation-chasing. It is in the finished work of Jesus and the governing power of the Holy Spirit.

The weapons of our warfare are not physical. 2 Corinthians 10:4 (AMP)

The war room strategy for this week — four movements:

1. Bind. Where the Lord gives discernment, bind the oppressing spirit by name. Not every struggle is a demon — but where one has staked a claim, address it with the authority of the name of Jesus.

2. Halt. Decree that what has been leaning will not fall on your house. Progress stops today. “I halt its progress, in Jesus’ name.”

3. Release. Give the Holy Spirit full authority to go after the origin, not just the offense of the week, but the root beneath it. He alone knows how deep it goes, and He alone can uproot without destroying the wheat.

4. Seal. Close the doors behind the work: repentance where I agreed, forgiveness where I was owed, truth where I was lied to. Unsealed ground gets replanted by the enemy; sealed ground gets replanted by God.

Pray this decree aloud with me:

Father, I thank You that the ground of my soul belongs to You. I bind the oppressing spirit, I halt its progress, and I give the Holy Spirit full authority to go after every hidden root, the origin, the source, the system. What You expose, I release. What You cut down, I will not replant. Seal the ground with repentance, forgiveness, and truth. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

The Wisdom Table: Discernment Without Drama

A seasoned word for my leaders, my intercessors, my Grey Wisdom Collection, because this part of the teaching protects people.

We do not measure deliverance by manifestations. We measure it by fruit. Freedom. Repentance. Restored identity. Peace that holds under pressure. A scene at the altar is not the goal; a soul, healed and standing, is the goal.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Matthew 7:16 (KJV)

For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things. 1 Timothy 4:8 (KJV)

So handle every moment of deliverance with compassion and order. Protect dignity. Follow up. Pair every deliverance with healing and truth, or the relapse will discourage the very one you prayed for. The wise woman’s war room has clean protocols and a warm blanket.

Now…the announcement.

Seven years ago, God began downloading a revelation into my spirit about roots: why some wounds keep growing back, why deliverance and healing must work together, why the fruit is never the real problem. I carried it through testing. I lived it in my own war room. I watched it hold in the delivery room. And this summer, the Lord used a yard full of leaning trees to finalize what He started seven years ago.

And that date is not random. August 3rd is my anniversary, a day that already testifies to covenant, faithfulness, and the years God has kept. It felt right that a book seven years in the making should be delivered on a day that celebrates what endures. This year marks 30 years of walking in unity, battling the enemy together, and building ministry and legacy together. I chose this date to release my new book on this date, because of the mark of legacy and the revealing of some of my family testimonies concerning the hidden roots we had to walk through to set ourselves and our family members free.
